Q: How do I book a session?
A: Booking is simple. Start by submitting an inquiry through my contact form, sending a direct message on my Instagram photography page, or emailing me. Once we confirm availability and session details, a non-refundable retainer/deposit of 50% and a signed agreement are required to officially secure your date.

A: Retainers/deposits are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, please do so with at least a 48 hours notice. I understand life happens, so I'm happy to work with you.
Q: What is your tardiness policy?
A: Sessions begin at the scheduled start time. Clients arriving late will forfeit that portion of their session time. Additional time may be added if available and may be subject to an additional fee. Please be sure to arrive on time.
Q: What is your weather policy?
A: Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled due to severe weather conditions. Overcast skies and light cloud coverage are typically suitable for shooting.
Q: How many photos will I receive?
A: It depends on the session, but most portrait and graduation shoots include at least 60+ selected edited images. Events and weddings typically include 60–300+ edited pictures, depending on coverage.

Q: How long will it take to get my photos back?
A: My standard turnaround time is about 1-2 weeks for portraits and graduations after the session (depends on how busy I am), for events between 2-3 weeks after the session, and for African Traditional Weddings & Engagements 3–4 weeks after the session.

Q: Do you travel outside of Charlotte?
A: Yes. I’m based in Charlotte, NC, but I’m open to traveling to surrounding areas (Greensboro, Gastonia, Kings Mountain, Shelby, etc.). Travel fees may apply depending on the distance.

Q: Do you provide unedited/raw images?
A: The portrait shoot and graduation shoots will include all unedited pictures from the shoot. I will then have you favorite the pictures you like to a certain number based on the package to edit. I’ll make sure you get the best shots from our session.

Q: What if I need more time or want multiple locations/outfits?
A: Extra time, additional locations, or outfit changes can be added to any package. Just let me know when booking, and we’ll create a custom plan.

A: I currently accept Cash App, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal, and Cash. Payment is due after the shoot.

Q: Can you share our photos online?
A: Yes. I love showcasing the moments I capture. By booking a session, you agree that I may use select images for my portfolio, website, and social media unless otherwise discussed in writing beforehand. Also whenever you share on social media, tag @peterb_mainststudio on IG. I repost all client photos.
